It makes sense that I always keep eyes on new designs to decorate my room as I studied interiors in college. - it doesn't mean that I can afford pretty designs... how sad -  I didn't expect me to step into the store but I ended up finding myselft browsing through the shelves in Muji, in Gangnam, Seoul....
Muji's design is sometimes very cozy-looking with their plaid blankets, fabrics or wooden chair and furnitures. But when it comes to containers, they make it really practical and...pricey.

I felt like I need a little storage to place all my skin care items I use in a daily basis as its now scatterred all around my table. I thought it was a good idea to get a simple half-transparent, sleekly molded plastic container. I was looking at acrylic ones as well but oh boy, it wasn't pocket-friendly at all.

Along with the purchase of Muji container, I checked out my favorite drugstore Boons in Gangnam. You just can't pass by haha. I was thrilled to see REN SKINCARE there and it was actually my first time seeing it in Korea. And the sales woman who was consulting me turns out to be the CEO of REN Skincare Korea! I immediately thanked her for bringing it in here.

REN Skincare is a British brand that stands for NO message. No petrochemicals, sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrance, synthetic colours, T.E.A, D.E.A, Glycols, Silicones, Pegs, Et al. You can find it in Liberty and Selfridges if you reside there, I highly recommend you to check out for those who are interested.

I was kinda glad I was running low on my moisturizer and not to mention she was an excellent sales women that I ended up buying the Night Serum for blemish prone skin. This was my first time just buying any skincare item without researching beforehand. We had a lovely chat and she gave me another cream, which was ClearCalm3 Total Clarity Day Fluid to try out and it was actually a whole new bottle! Now I have a few Skincare stuff to make a review in the future!

Have you tried any REN products? Or do you own any Muji?

  1. I've heard good things about Ren; I'm glad that they're available in Boons now. As for Muji, I've been meaning to try out their trays too for my skincare bottles- maybe one of these days I'll get around to doing so =)

  2. Muji's prices make me wanna cry my eyes out. Haha. Honestly, I know I can find that kind of container on department stores on a more affordable price, but why are they so expensive on Muji's? T_______T
But anyway, aside from the pricey containers, their school supplies and garments seem nice. Heehee.

  3. Oh that container you have! I've got it too but I got mine from Daiso. Last year, I think. Exactly the same. As for skincare, I've heard a lot of things about Ren but I don't really know if they cater to dry skin. Would really like to try it once I'm done with my skincare products.
